Spring came on Friday and left on Sunday here. We are getting ready for “Spring Break” with inches of the white stuff still on the ground. We have been in the middle of our Maple Syrup extravaganza and I need to send treats to school. I have made Pumpkin Spice Krispy Treats, Peanut Butter and Plain Old Perfect Original. We are hungry for signs of Spring in the middle of these cold, gray days. All you need is… 13×9 pan. Spray with a bit of Spray. 1 box Fruity Pebbles (Or store brand). 1 stick butter. 1 16 oz bag of Marshmallows. 1 tsp Vanilla. 1 dash salt. 
You know the drill. Melt butter in dutch oven (preferably non-stick), toss in your puffy pillows of sugar and stir over medium heat until melted. Remove from heat, stir in Vanilla, salt and cereal. Mix quickly and pour into your prepared pan. (Hint, spray your wooden spoon or spatula before you spread them out). Allow them to cool. 
These are just what the Doctor ordered. Sweet and fruity and bright. Sending them to School this morning. Beware they are saweeeet! Enjoy with a glass of cold milk and then fight tooth decay the rest of the day!
